Finder shows/doesn't show owner name? (CCC problem?)

Why does my MBP (early 2011) show my name in Finder but on my Wife's (MBP Mid 2012) her name does not show in Finder? Both computers run OS X 10.8.2. The reason I ask is I am having a problem with Carbon Copy Cloner. Where when I boot from the my computer clone, Finder, and my desktop, shows all the volume's (3) on the external drive but on hers when rebooted from the clone Finder only shows two of three volumes on the ex. H D. The volume with her back up does not show. (Her desktop does not show any of the external HD's volume's) I posed the same question on the CCC site a couple of days ago but have not recieved a reply. Thank You
