quicktime pro is not activate after using the activate code (Mountain Lion)

Hello, I follow the instructions to download the right version of Quicktime to use in Mountain Lion... I buy the activate code to upgrade to pro... The quicktime sign shows that I have pro now but the quicktime software says no... so have somebody tips or trics...

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

It states that if you see the "pro" icon over the quicktime icon, then you have successfully installed Quicktime Pro.
