I have a iPad (3rd generation), model MD371B/A but would to understand the full specification when comparing with the new iPad. How do i find this data.

When it comes down to it, the only differences between an iPad 3 and an iPad 4 is the Processor type and speed, and the charging / data port.
iPad 3 has a 1Ghz A5X processor while the iPad 4 has a 1.3Ghz A6X processor.
Ipad 3 has a 30 pin charge and data port while iPad 4 has a Lightning 5 pin port.
