Safari for Lion?

Am having a lot of trouble with Safari 6.0.2. It stalls sometimes when I click on a link and stalls really often if I type in a web address.

History... Did not have this problem until after I had the hard drive replaced. (It was one of those with a glitch, requiring replacement)

In reading through discussions today, I found one that said Safari 6.0.2 is only for Mountain Lion and doesn't really work with Lion. Not sure when 6.0.2 was installed. So what do I need to do?
