my macbook pro wont wake up from a normal sleep

ive had my macbook pro since december of 2010 and it has worked great up until like september of 2012. i upgraded my software to lion about a couple weeks after it came out and i dont really know much about computers, i use mine for school and personal use like photos and music basically. it crashed around thanksgiving 2012 and i had to get my hard drive replaced and im still having these problems. is there anything i can do or should i take it to the apple store? and i would like anything i can do before i take it in please
