Time Capsule couldn't complete the backup to my Time Carsule because "The backup disk image "Volumes/Data/MacBokk Pro.sparsebundle is already in use. No other computers are using Time capsule at this time.

If you believe its a firmware issue, use the airport utility to downgrade your firmware to the previous version.
Thanks! I didn't know I could revert to a previous firmware version. This solved my problem (everything slowed down unacceptably after the last firmware update, and some connections just wouldn't happen).
The latest firmware is broken and bug-ridden. Avoid it. Glad your issue is fixed.
