my pictures aren't backing up from icloud

i uploaded icloud onto my new iphone 5 i just bought today everything is loading up except the photos ive taken on my previous iphone 4s that was stolen. even the most recent contacts show up but no pictures...help

You might try restoring the backup again; sometimes it works the second time. Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings to get back to the setup screens and the option to restore from your iCloud backup.
