How do I fix my find my iphone?

Well I have my fond my iphone app, and I have a black ipod touch 4g, but whenever I go on it says its a white ipod but it is not! How do I fix this? Help!

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.0.1

I would call AppleCare. May be somewhat irrelevant as the serial number is what is most important.

The FIndMyiPhone/iPod incorrectly identifies the color of some devices. It makes no difference, Just ignore the color of the device
