Q: Gift for my Wife

I bought an app for my wife as a gift. I received a receipt but neither me or her receive information about how to download it.

I have a receipt but i cant find the app in either my or my wifes itunes acounts.

Should she get an email with a link to the app store to down load it? or should it say to her when she logs into Itunes that she has received a Gift?

Any help any one can offer would be appreciated

This looks like it will help me, but for what ever reason when i try to enter my account from the itunes store im now getting "An error has accerd (-50): There was a error in the itunes store please try again later."

i know this is most likely unrelated to my original question but do you by chance know what this is about?
