The music in my Ipad mini repeats each track and must be manually moved to next track. The User Guide shows a repeat and shuffle button on page 79, but there is none on my iPad mini. I can't figure out how to stop this from repeating. Any ideas?

Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
The repeat icon is on the top left.

Thanks for the quick response. However I had tried that several times before writing. The IOS was also upaded to 6.1 in the middle of all of it. No difference.
No, there is NO repeat button on the Mini. I am very familiar with the appearance of the repeat button. I have it on my phone and it shows in the User Guide, but there is not one on the Mini.
I figured it out. The "music" was actually an audiobook. I took a look at a music playlist and clicked on a song, and a repeat button popped up at the top next to the slider. It was blue so I tapped it to turn it off, then returned to the audio book. The audiobook now plays correctly without repeating.. I hope this helps someone.
I was having the same problem! I didn't have any music on my ipad; only audio books. I added some songs and created a music playlist. Once I started to play a song on the playlist that I created, the repeat button showed up and I was able to turn off the repeat funtion. Thanks!
