My partner has given me his old phone (we share the bill via Vodaphone) - I have changed I-Tunes to my Apple ID - how do I change the I-Cloud and stop sharing calendars with him?

Try Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and setup a new iCloud account.

Thanks for the advice - i can now send messages to my partner and he receives them! It will take a while to fully understand the calendar as he has lots of forward calendar entries - I just hope that any new ones dont come through to me!
