ATV frozen after update

I did the most recent software update to ATV (adding bluetooth support, etc.). Ever since, it has been freezing immediately after the home screen comes up.

Nothing on the remote works. Can't get to options, or move anywhere. It might as well be a hockey puck.

I reset to factory defaults via micro USB into iTunes, still stuck. Is there a way to roll back the last software update that anyone knows?
