I want to make audio-files that I have created in GarageBand available to my language-coach. The files are so large, even when compressed, that they cannot, it seems, be sent via gMail. I am completely defeated by AirDropper, and YouSendIt -- as so many other users seem to find -- responds with Error 1004 whenever I try to upload a file.

Can some kind person tell me of a simple, reliable, and preferably not-too-expensive methed of achieving what I am trying to do ?

Here is the answer:

1. Launch GarageBand.

2. Click Share, then from the drop-down menu choose "Export podcast to disc."

3. Choose "Compress using MP3 encoder" then "Audio settings spoken podcast," and click 'Export."

4. Launch AirDropper, and follow the (now) simple steps from there.

My difficulty before was that AD consistently failed to upload a file with a '.band'-extension, but without explaining why such was the case.
