iMessage will not send to all my iDevices

After restoring my iPhone 4S my iPad Mini would no longer sync my iMessage sent to my phone number. I have tryed singing out and back in again on both ipad and iPhone but My iPad will not receive form my phone number. I know you can change everthing to send and receive from my email, but I really want it back to my phone number like it was before the restore anyone know how?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1

Resolved!!!! played around and fixed it!!

To fix it this is what I did. Turned on iMessage on my iPad, then click on Send & Receive, you should only see your email addresse, No phone number. At the top you'll see you apple ID click on it. When the pop-up jumps up click on View Account. This should log into you apple ID and will check you account for a phone number, Your Send & Receive should now have your phone number with the email addresses from there your all set 🙂

If you read what I was asking you article dosne't fix anything. On the ipad already sign in to my Apple ID with eveything set up imessages,face time,iCloud. When you go into send & Revived your Phone Number is not there. That was the issue and I fixed it and posted it for other who have this same issue. Your article was close to what I was asking but dosn't have that issue with the missing phone number.

Grumpy you must be a apple employee. So fyi I know how to basic troubleshoot my iDevices and I assure you I have already rebooted, updated, syced, and sign in and back out of eveything. So if you post anything by apple I have already read and tryed it that is why I'm on here looking for real apple experts not an apple emplyee who only knows how to rinse and repeat basic troubleshoot. So grumpy If your still not understanding why your answer didn't fix anything. It is a glitch with the apple ID i found the quick fix for it. that signing in and out dosn't fix, you have to view account to refreash the ipad and find you number.
