In trying to set up a new HP Officejet 6700 I have now installed the software twice, following directions found in HP forums. I still cannot update the software using their directions. Can anyone help here?

I have solved this by uninstalling the printer and software once more. For an unknown reason, this time I was able to get the update. But since this is such a common problem, it should be addressed on the HP site!
