Are you kidding me? What is so hard about it? Seriously? You must work for Apple. Why does it take 20 steps a computer degree to copy a song on to your phone, oh--wait, unless you bought it from Apple.

You know that I don't work for Apple, like the vast majority of people on here I'm just a fellow user - the few people who work Apple are labelled as such.

No idea what convoluted things that you are doing, but it doesn't take me anywhere near 20 steps :
1, connect phone to computer
2, open iTunes on computer
3, find song(s) in iTunes to copy
4, drag-and-drop them onto phone device in iTunes

What are you finding hard about it ? If you say what the problem is then somebody on here might be able to help
