All my apps use the space on my iPad - I have plenty of space on iCloud. Is there not a way to move my apps onto the cloud to free up space?

Unfortunately, iCloud can't be used to store apps. However, your apps store information in iCloud if you are backing up your iPad on iCloud, or if you are using an iCloud-compatible app, but you can't store them on iCloud and run them from there

This will not create space on your iPad. To create more space on your iPad you will need to Delete some Content from it... be it Apps or Media...

You can always delete any apps you are not using right now. All your purchased content is kept by Apple (but NOT in your iCloud space) and can be re-download at any time in the future.
