I have account in old @mac.com domain with Apple ID - but I can't use it as Apple ID. Why?

Hi,

I have account in old @mac.com domain with Apple ID.

I used to have that email adress (in www.me.com) and used as AOL communicator login.

Now logging into iCloud I can't use it 😟

Is it a way to get this e-mail adress back?

If you haven't kept that address in active use through .Mac, MobileMe and now iCloud it cannot be re-activated. Only people who paid for MobileMe service continuously can keep their @mac.com addresses as email addresses.
