recovery mode

my ipod when connected to my computer said it was in recovery mode, i recovered it but after a while it shut off again and said i needed to recover again.

i now dont know what to do, do i recover again for the 2nd time, and if i do what do i do if it says i need to recover for the 3rd time?

Maybe:

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .


Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
