I have a new iPad mini and its battery now says 39% after two days of use. When I have my power adapter plugged into an outlet and into the iPad I do not see that it is charging. It still says 39% after a couple of hours . What do i need to do?

Not sure why it's not charging. Have you ensured the power socket is actually turned on/working? Sounds obvious I know but it's a good starting point.
