Q: Roaming network question - radio channels.

I have two AEBS on a roaming network connected by ethernet. Does it matter how the radio channels are configured?  Right now I have both AEBS running manual radio channel selection at least 5 channels apart on both bands. Seems to be working fine - just looking for advice. Is this how the channels should be configured for optimal performance?

This is fine, as long as you keep channels separated by at least 3-4 settings for the 2.4 GHz band.  Don't worry about separation on the 5 GHz band as long as you have one AirPort on one channel and the other on another.

The "Automatic" setting works well for most users, so you don't have to worry about setting the channels manually.

If things seem to be working well now, probably no reason to change.
