I can't install anything...

You should start your own thread detailing your system and problem rather than resurrecting a two year old thread. In your new thread provide information about your computer and what you are trying to do that caused you to attempt that command.

Had the same problem with Adobe Illustrator and found the following solution:

- double click to open the .dgm

- open adobe illustrator cs5

- copy and paste all folders (included install) on desktop

- right click on "install" copied on the destop to show the package

- open contents > MacOs > install

and it worked!

Right-click or control-click the files and select Open from the contextual menu.

Solved the problem.

Open 'Terminal Mode', which is in the Users Library. (You have to pres 'Alt' to see the Users Library.) Then type in to 'Terminal':

xattr -c /Users/******/Downloads/*******.dmg (make sure that is the correct path to the correct installation file you are having problems with.)

I did this twice, because once did nothing (spelling error?).

Anyway, now Adobe InDesign is happily installing.
