I can't install anything...

Hi,

I've tried to install Adobe Flash Player and Skype on my new MacBook Pro and I keep getting messages that say:

“Install Adobe Flash Player” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.

“Install Adobe Flash Player” is on the disk image “install_flash_player_osx-2.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 6:18 PM from get.adobe.com.

“Skype” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image.

“Skype” is on the disk image “Skype_6.2.0.1117.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 6:51 PM from www.skype.com.

The browser I'm using is Safari. I have OS X Version 10.8.2. I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.

Had the same problem with Adobe Illustrator and found the following solution:

- double click to open the .dgm

- open adobe illustrator cs5

- copy and paste all folders (included install) on desktop

- right click on "install" copied on the destop to show the package

- open contents > MacOs > install

and it worked!

Solved the problem.

Open 'Terminal Mode', which is in the Users Library. (You have to pres 'Alt' to see the Users Library.) Then type in to 'Terminal':

xattr -c /Users/******/Downloads/*******.dmg (make sure that is the correct path to the correct installation file you are having problems with.)

I did this twice, because once did nothing (spelling error?).

Anyway, now Adobe InDesign is happily installing.

Happy Days..... ;-)
