Can't See AirPlay icon on MacBook Pro

My MacBook Pro says its from early 2011 and is running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

It can't see the AirPlay on the laptop, only the iTunes account. How can I see it to enable mirroring? Both of our MacBook Pros are on the same wireless network as our AppleTV.

AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer).
