My iPod touch wont download apps

When i try and download an app it wont work. I will push the "Install" button after purchasing an app. Then it will show the little spinning circle up in the corner of the screen and then it will go away. Then it will say "You have already purchases this app it will now download". Then nothing happens I have tried reseting all the settings and I have done a lot to fix it but nothing works. Please help me. I am using the iPod Touch 5th Generation.

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Unsync that app and resync it.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
