Mac Mini 2011 internet not connecting - "ISP failed"

I got a used Mac Mini 2011. It worked perfectly for a month. I was running Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Then suddenly it wouldn't connect to the internet anymore.

It connects to the router and says it has an IP address, but does not connect to the internet and when I go to the assistant or the diagnostics, it shows Wifi connected but then ISP failed and so no internet connection.

These are the things I have tried to fix it.

1. Creating a new location

2. Creating a new user

3. Reinstalling ML

4. Downgrading to 10.7 Lion

I know that may have been overkill, but I thought it would work. Even with all that, it still won't connect.

What could be the problem with this?

So when I do that, I get the exclamation mark on my wifi.

It changed the IPv4 Address to 169.254.61.199

Now there is now Router value and when I go back to the regular network settings it says "Self assigned IP address... will not be able to connect ot the internet"

And this is where I usually restart my router and start the whole process over again 😟
