I have recently started getting popup ads on my computer even though popups are blocked in my Safari preferences. They even appear on my homepage which is the Apple website. It seemed to start happening when I got the lastest version of Flash. I am not sure if that is the reason but it is very annoying. How can I prevent this.

how do u go to extensions. I also get a lot of vimeos pop ups

I added GlimmerBlocker (free) to my normal Safari blocking setting. I see very very few.
It's made for Macs, and doesn't need to be updated with every OS/Safari upgrade.
Just my two cents.
Finally I discovered that it's a company called iReview. I went to extensions and clicked uninstall for iReview
and it disappeared. Yay! Thanks for your response.
