iTouch cracked top left corner and won't connect to internets far away

So a few days ago I dropped my ipod touch 4g on the top left corner, and bad luck for me the top left corner is where the network adapter is at..and now I can't get far reception of internet connections. Should I disassemble the screen then move the network adapter closer to the right? And if so how? And there's a little crack/hole on the left top corner.
