Every night at midnight I get birthday reminders for people who were once in my contacts list. I have taken them off my list, but keep getting the reminders for them. And there several reminders for each person....sometimes up to 20. I can't figure out how to stop this

They are on your calendar. Go to calender and remove them.

Thank you. I discovered everything all these birthday reminders were indeed on my calendar part of my calendar, if that makes sense. Because they were all unwanted reminders, I deleted the whole calendar part of my calendar. I kept my work and home parts of the calendar. Not sure if this makes sense. But thanks for the help
