iPad use with Alzheimer's ?

Is there anyone using iPads with Alzheimer's patients? Is it possible to limit access to Internet sites but still provide apps for games, crossword puzzles, etc.?

Can a specific setup be used to assist with calendar, to-do lists, daily living activities?

You can use the Reminders app or any number of other similar apps that use alarms or push notifications to send reminders of daily activities like taking medication.

It seems there are apps built for this purpose: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-meds-pill-reminder-by-drugs.com/id453359236?m t=8

This app and others by the same developer seem to be focussed on the Alzheimer's user community: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alzheimers-apps/id351904904?mt=8 They have attention and concentration apps available.

Finally, it's an older discussion but take a look here for suggestions from others: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2588325?start=0&tstart=0
