Cannot receive email at mac.com address

Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone knows why my mac.com address won't recieve email and is rejecting it, whereas the @me.com and @icloud.com address associated with it still recieve email? It says in manage my apple ID that the @mac.com is still my primary address.
