I have a lot of syncronized clips on my timeline, and now I realized I can't stabilize some of them, because this option isn't available. It's regularly available for simple clips.
How can it be possible????
Open the compound clip. Can you activate stabilization inside it?
It's not a compund clip, it's a syncronized clip (I synced an other audio clip to it)
A synced clip is a compound clip of video and audio. Look at the icon in the upper left.
I haven't compound clip icon in my synced clips..
Neither in timeline and nor in the event browser
You're quite right. It's been removed in the current version. So right-click on the sync clip and select Open in Timeline. You should have stabilization there.
I tried "Open in Timeline", but stabilization isn't available yet..
When you open in timeline and select the video, you're not seeing this?
You might try the usual trash prefs, but I'm sorry I don't understand why that's not working for you.
I found the trick...
The clip at issue was inside a storyline, so I had to break it apart to make stabilization appearing..
And, to this end.. I don't understand why sometimes storylines are created automatically on some clips.....
The image you posted doesn't show a storyline.
Most commonly storylines are created when transitions are added to connected clips.
You should not have to break apart a storyline to open a clip in its own timeline.
Actually I posted an image of another point of the editing. This is the exact point:
The issue was that it opened in its own timeline but stabilization option didn't appear. On the contrary now it appears.... boh....
This is in 10.0.7? This is weird because I can open I clip in the timeline without breaking apart the storyline, which you really should not have to do.
I can do it too. The issue was that stabilization didn't appear as an option, but now it is there...
I don't know why. Anyway now all is fine
