I have a macbook air 1st generation with os leopard and have now bought an ipad mini and iphone 5. What do i need to download/buy so itunes recognises them? I am currently running leopard and it says it can’t connect to these device. Do I just need to have snow leopard to update to the new itunes so the devices are recognised? Is there a different quicker way? thanks

You need to upgrade to OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8
I do beleive the apple store still sells the snow leo discs online.
And then once i do that and update my itunes would it recogise iOS6 devices?
