So it's coming up on 4 years. I LOVE Logic but there are so many things to fix and update. Any clues as towhen we shouldexpect 10?

Excellent observation! May I add that the company hoe originally created Logic also claimed the word 'vapourware' to be their unofficial company motto. I guess Apple has acquired this too when buying the whole package. So in consequence to that, no surprise really!

I remember being able to call Emagic to speak about features, upcoming releases, etc. I really feel stranded with Apple. I know I'm not alone. Perhaps Apple's hardware policy of super guarded release plans does not and should not apply to pro software. We are a different community with different support needs. I would still like to see Apple develop Logic, but with a different user base relationship. Also, I do t mind paying twice or even three times the software cost for this kind of relationship and support.
All across its software and hardware offerings Apple is retreatiing from the professional arena.

When was the last time the MacPro was updated?
It is abundantly clear Apple has become a consumer electronics company. God help us as that is the path to perdition.
