Wifi printer connections

I was using a new macbook pro with a relatively new HP deskjet printer having set up my previous mac to use it HP wirelessly. I lost connection this morning and the only thing that is different is my wife has connected wirelessly and my daughter who is windows 8 .I tried re configuring and the printer is receiving wi fi signal so what do I do next ??? It works with a USB connector but that is a pain
