update to 6.1.1 is draining my battery on standby :(
I did not hae issue on battery life before this update.. now my phone wont last overnght.. whats going on 😟

My calendar are already off by default..
I am having the exact same issue, never suffered battery drain til the last update!!!!! I fully charged my phone last night and awoke this morning to a totally dead phone!! Charged it again, didn't even last the day!!! Not using my phone half as much as I did cause I do everything on my pad now and was impressed at how long I WAS getting outa my phone, totally unimpressed, if you get a decent fix let me know!?!?
I was not having a problem with battery life. Then I upgraded to 6.1.1 and now my battery is draining at a very rapid rate (less than half the battery life). It is also often warm. It is not the calendar problem. Anxious for an acknowledgement from Apple and a fix. Up til now the only issues I'm seeing apple respond to are the password bypass. We need a fix.
FYI, also change the my data fething to OFF, but that did not make any difference. I found a workaround but its not a good workaround. I remove my exchange account from my list of emails and now my phone is okay. so the knowledge base article provided by apple is incomplete.

I didn't have any luck with exchange server the first time I tried it but then I restarted my phone and turned my exchange server off and then on again after a few minutes. I restarted my phone once more and "voila", no battery drain at all. If fact, it seems better than with 6.1.
iOS 6.1.2 has just been released which fixes the Exchange bug and related battery drain issue.
Yeah I update to 6.1.2 .. and this fixed my issue.. finally..
