When trying to install Snow Leopard on my mac mini, the kernel panics. Fromas did the following:
I spent the SL dvd to External HD with disk utility.
Restarted the mac mini holding the Option key.
It appeared the screen to select the device and selected the External HD.
At this stage the mac does not advance, the error. Kernel Panic, does anyone know how to solve?

If it is a 2011 mini it will not run Snow Leopard 10.6...as it shipped with Lion 10.7......wether Snow Leopard is on an external drive or not....
so how do I install photoshop cs2?
I do not use Photoshop.....but I checked and it seems that the current version of Photoshop is CS6........so I am guessing you will need a somewhat newer version than you have....to work with Lion...
You can actually run CS3 on OS 10.8. I do. But no dice with CS2.
