Q: Snow leopard 10.6.3 disk is ejected before installation is complete. Disk space is sufficient. What to do?
Having trouble installing Mac OSX Snow Leopard in Mac Pro. Disk ejects without completing installation. Any suggestions?
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

If your installing over 10.5, then you should be using a 10.6 disk with a white snow leopard on the front, not black or gray.
Because there is a issue if your reinstalling with the black or gray disks, before completing Disk #1 it ejects and waiting for Disk #2 to be inserted.
I would try rebooting, it's obviously installed and if it didn't then you will have to data recovery, then erase and install.
If you do 10.5 first, (both disks) then install your 10.5 software, then upgrade to 10.6 (overwrites 10.5) your 10.5 software will work in 10.6 (but not in 10.7 or 10.8)
If you didn't make a backup of your users files, then you need to do this step first.
.Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
