My Macbook Pro 15" restarts itself while I'm on it.

My Macbook Pro 15" running Mountian Lion 10.8.2 restarts itself while I'm on it editing pictures (iPhoto) and videos (iMovie), as well as, on-line (Firefox), 10 times w/in a 6 day period. Can you help me with this? What is the problem?
