At times when I'm leaving the home screen or turning off the phone, the screen enlarges to the point you cannot read it or get it to move. The only way I've resolved thesis by shutting the entire phone and restarting. Anybody know why this is happening ?

Double-tap with three fingers
Settings> General > Accessability > Zoom > On/Off
Settings> General > Accessability > Triple-click Home > Zoom
Do any of these options duplicate your issue?
I have had the same issue as timtheup 3 times since I bought my iPhone 5 3 weeks ago and have tried what Malignace suggests to no avail. Only thing that works is reboot.
Have today upgraded to iOS 6.1.2
Screen suddenly expands and won't go back to normal
