I have Bluetooth connection but sound is still coming from iPad speakers, how do I get the sound on the Bluetooth

It's not automatic. You have to choose the output, and it depends on which app you're using. If you're using the native iOS Music App, along the volume slider is a button on the right end, which if you tap, will allow you to choose the output.

If you don't see the output there, then you really don't have a bluetooth connection with the Bluetooth device.
