recovery key
does anyone know how to get a recovery key?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5), changed password and i cant get in
The recovery key was created and displayed when you activated FileVault. If you saved it or stored it with Apple, you can use it to unlock the boot volume by following the instructions on this page:
If you have forgotten the password and don't have the recovery key, it's too late to create one now.
