Picture issue on trailer editing mode. iOs 6.1 / iMovie 1.4.1

When i try to make a trailer on iMovie 1.4.1 (and one version before) i have the following issue:

I try to put an image on a scene on the left panel as usual, and the image shows on the lower right box and i can edit the start and end positions for the ken burns effect. The image shows todo on the preview box. But when i tap on play or also when i try producing the full movie the image shows as black. The sound still can be heard. I tried with ipad's generated images and imported ones.

I have a new iPad, with iOs6.1 and the last version of iMovie. I though the problem will be solved updating the iMovie software but it didnt.

I'm experiencing the same bug and it doesn't appear to be related to trailer editing. iMovie for iOS (downloaded on 2/13/2013) on iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1. If I create a "New Project" (not a Trailer) and add 2 photos, the first photo correctly performs a Ken Burn's effect and then the preview & video goes to black for the rest of the project. Any one else experiencing this?

I just tried what you said, JamoCA, and its true. The second image doesnt show by the first 1 or 2 seconds, goes black but that time. The rest of the time (on every photo) shows the k.b. effect normally.

This next video shows what i mean: is a set of photos, 5 of them, with different lenghts and some animated with ken burn's effect. The first two shows normally, the third cuts at beggining. The fourth simply doesn't show and the last shows, without the effect that is suposed to be and cut.
