20" Apple Cinema Display has a green tinted screen in dual display setup with a Macbook Pro and becomes fuzzy? Help?

I hace a 20" Apple Cinema Display in a dual screen setup with a 17" Macbook Pro. When I connect the MDP the screen turns on with a green tint and when I "detect display" it turns fuzzy. Help me please? I don't know if it's something wrong the the ACD or my DVI to MDP adapter?
