Feb 14, 2013 6:25 PM in response to Krissy_leeby Frank Caggiano,Are you saying you don;t even get the first tear window that lets you select the folder or is that once you select and press import nothing happens?
I fit is the first case (not tear screen) then try moving the preference file out to the desktop. See Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics about 2/3 of the way down for instructions for moving the preference file.
If the problem is nothing happens after you press import post back.

Apr 25, 2013 1:00 AM in response to Krissy_leeby flxms,I have exactly the same problem here (Mac Book Pro early 2011, Mac OS X 10.8.3, latest Aperture 3.4.4). The trouble started after the latest upgrade.
I repaired the library, corrected permissions and removed ~/Library/Preferences. That didn't change anything.
After choosing File>Import>folder as projects nothing happens. There is no window, popup etc. Sometimes Aperture even runs into a "blue screen".
Any suggestions to solve this problem?
