I need to burn it to DVD using DVD Studio Pro. In the old Compressor (Compressor 3) there used to be preset settings for DVD Studio Pro that I used all the time but they are no longer available in Compressor 4
So you've already digitized the tape and are looking for the best pre-sets.
For SD source material I still use the Compressor 3.5 settings from the Best Quality 90 minute preset. Here are Encoder screenshots for both 90 minutes and 120 minutes folders.( Although these screenshots are variable rate settings, most of the time I use CBR.) The C4 DVD presets are somewhat higher, and often I'm concerned about playability issues.
Good luck.

Awesome thanks a bunch! I will try it out and let you know how it works.
By the way are these settings for Fastest Encode?
Hi Nathan.
The 6.2 setting is "Best Quality".
The 5.0 setting is "Fastest Encode". There are 2 differeneces between Fastest and Best: one pass vs. two pass VBR, Mode; Good vs. Best, Motion Estimation.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Good luck.
Russ
