I tried using Aperture 3.4.3 in MBP OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and it is so slow and even slows other apps. Is there any solution to it?
My MBP is not Retina Display by the way. Its 13-inch MBP introduced Early 2011. Help me out....

First have at least 8 GB RAM. You can find how much your box will take from OWC:

Second, hard drives slow as they fill so make sure no drive is more than an arbitrary ~70% full.
After those two critical items are dealt with if it is still slow report back here with workflow details.
