Converting AVID DNX FILES

Hi


I have a avid dnx file that I need to convert to something fcp can read, I have downloaded all the codec for avid and still no luck.


Does anyone know how I cant make this happen ?

Not sure if this will work for you, biut I recently took over a project that had been started on a mac avid and then had some work done on a pc avid. I was able to download and install the 30 day trial of media composer and open the bins. I was then able to export an aaf and bring that in to fcp using the automatic duck plug in which is available free

Automatic Duck creates proxy quicktimes which allow you to work with avid media files.
