My 27" iMac has 2 thunderbolt ports. I recently purchased 2 LG 27" monitors and HDMI to Thunderbolt cables intending to set up a 3 display workstation.
When I linked the monitors with the thunderbolt sockets, only one is recognised by the mac.
Why does the imac not recgnise the second external monitor using the identical cable/socket setup?
Is there any additional kit I need to share the 3 screens?
Am I missing something I need to do in preferences?
I have searched the net and the only helps and hints I can find refer to 2010 macs with only one external monitor output.
Hi Mike, this isn't the first such problem report I've seen, perhaps another option...
