Mail pw problem with Mac Air

I continually get a pop-up saying "The Yahoo! IMAP server “imap.mail.yahoo.com” rejected the password for user “carlmiller@rogers.com

Mac Mail will work when I input my pw but the pop-up soon returns. I can access my Rogers (service provider) mail on yahoo mail.

It is of course very annouying.

Unless you've recently changed your email password, that error message should be ignored. When your email program attempts to connect with an email server there are a number of things that can go wrong leading to failure and unfortunately Mail tends to interpret these failures as a password failure. So unless you've recently changed your password the message should be ignored and you should just attempt to connect a little later.

Well I have to Semi agree on that one. But still not as bad as the included Mac Mail.

The one thing that turned me off Mac Mail the first time I opened it was I could not access any User settings without First setting up an Email address. What program doesn't allow the user to make changes to setting before you actually start using it? Well that would be most Apple written software which IMHO is the worst overall.
